We took visitors out for an overnight on Shi Shi Beach and walked to the Point of Arches.

A permit is needed to camp here, but this time of the year it was not difficult to obtain.

Overnight parking for Shi Shi Beach is at a private lot 0.6 miles before the trailhead. Parking there was uncomplicated and it was nice to not have to worry about what happens to your car at a trailhead.
